You may have convinced me to do a spin on filter in-line with my cooler. There's no way a WIX or similar spin on paper filter without a check valve would have the same restriction those Magnefines do. May do a cheap oil filter magnet on it too.

Almost a year later:



I've put about 1500 miles on the original filter that came in the kit in this video. This was the second and last drain and fill for a long time. I'm using AMSOIL Synthetic ATF, and have replaced the original filter with a WIX, no complaints so far.
