One more thing....
If you have a bad SAS valve,your pump would be DEAD already because of the water which entered in the pump.
Strange thing,but you would have a fault code for Secondary Air Injection System,instead of bad evaporator system.
About evaporator system....it's usually a simple thing like bad seal on the fuel cap or tank cap isn't tightened enough,cracked hose from charcoal canister which is located at passenger's side of the car,inside of the passenger's wing...or a bad discharge valve.Other location for a cracked hose would be in the fuel filter area(besides right rear wheel),at roll-over valve.
Evaporator system code would also appear when you filling the tank when engine is running.To avoid this,always fill the tank with engine OFF.
I tried to upload some pics to get you idea how the roll-over valve and it's hoses look,but for some reason the pics will not upload.
