I just replaced it! lol. Its gotta be coming from that hose that goes to the turbo to that half round thing underneath the fresh air hose. Anyways i bought a wrench for 3 bucks a fram 1 and it was like a jaw type. so i broke it trying to get the stp off, i said forget this and jammed a Phillips head into it and turned it until it came off and the replacement Bosch filter fit right on in 2 seconds. I new the 1st ones threads had to be messed up!

The oil filter only needs to be a little more than hand-tight. I use a rag or one of the bottle opener rubber grips to get it on about as tight as I can by hand.

i no. my dad only did it hand tight he said. anyways the replacement fit. Got any ideas about were that smoke was coming from in the rear of the engine? it doesn't come out on regular only when i sea-foamed it. I think its that hose under the turbo hose.

I think it's the gasket between the turbo and exhaust downpipe to the catalytic converter. Mine did the same thing when I seafoamed it, and someone else mentioned it too. I wouldn't worry about it.
