Ok, I cant find one of these used so I am going a different route. ELM327 Wireless with my iPhone 5S and getting a monitoring App like DashCommand or Engine Link. Under $30 for the whole set up. Should have it going within a week.

I'm curious...has anyone compared the mpg reading from the ScanGauge to what the Volvo trip computer reports, i.e. do they show the same values? I'm wondering if they are using the same calculation and/or data.

Mine comes in handy being that my car doesn't have the volvo trip computer. I use the remaining fuel function the most since my gas gauge does whatever it wants below 4 gallons. I also programmed one of the trip functions to show miles to empty to add to the gauge screen.
Cable is routed over the steering wheel into the dash and under the center console. I moved the obdII port to below the parking brake so the cupholder console thing will shut like normal(the plug is huge). From where I sit, the scangauge blocks my view of the clock and ambient temp but nothing on the speedo. I got the color to even match the pale green of the cluster.
