OK, I just picked the car up. The stupid bolt that clamps the new bracket in place was rubbing now (it stuck through the bracket too far), so I told them to cut the end down. There is no real snow or slush here so I am hoping to test it out tomorrow if that snowstorm really hits.
So far so good though.
Yes, mine is weird - its a normal S60 AWD not an R but I've certainly got a bad case of this. Nothing looks unusual or out of the ordinary underneath so I think the exhaust and all is sitll the original.
Like I said, if this squeals once more its JRL-mod time

I had this happen on my XC70 and it scared the hell out of me. Took it down to the local exhaust shop, removed the center resonator and had a straight pipe welded in instead.
Funnily enough, no-one else in the club had heard about it let alone experienced it!
The car is a tiny bit louder but I'd like to think a tiny bit quicker as well. Do it and forget about it! =)
