Is this a real 850 R?

Yep, an R with odd wheels. A lot of people put other wheels on them if they didn't like the harder sporty ride. It also has the R lip. Could not see it in the first pic. However, I do see the crack in the one that's on there.

If those lights are lit, I guess it needs an ABS module. That may be the staw that broke the camels back for them. A lot of people don't know about options like we do.

How much do they want? If you want it you should stike fast before someone else gets it. It will likely need all of the normal 850 stuff so brace yourself for that.

ABS module rebuild $60-80 bucks but don't tell the seller
It does not have the correct bumper or wheels but it is an R
Seats were heavily used
Could it be 80K miles, sure, but it was from someone with a harsh a**!

88k of getting in and out a lot. I had a 4 mile commute. The getting in and out almost equals the miles.

Anytime I see the trip at 000.0 I think the odo is broken. Look at the AutoCheck report to see and estimate mileage.

The sticker with the tire pressures (gas flap) will list the tire sizes. My 850R lists the original 17", so that's a place to look...Plus, the "R" has an aluminum threshold plate that says "850", and, in the back of my mind, I seem to remember that all 850's do not have that (???)or do they?

Yes, only the R's have the stainless steel doorway thresholds.

The car is not local to the OP so he's just making sure from a distance.

The odometer could be broken gear "static" , like mine is, lol. I believe you can pull the mileage from the OBDii... The door sills are only on the R ; I have a Platinum which is only a couple of options short of the R and I don't have the aluminum sills...
