I mentioned the spoiler in the detailing and paint forum. I won't say what it cost, but they are hard to come by. (aside from new) I will have new brackets next week.
Painted it white.
Rear mud flaps.
Detailing the car a little, cleaning up oxidized paint. Much surface area on a wagon roof.
May take a break and check the pick and pull if it doesn't rain.

Great looking 850!
What kind of paint did you use? I looked through your posts and couldn't find any - looks like it works well.

Thanks. I thought the maintenance log could only be added to by the original poster?Oddbob wrote:Great looking 850!

Anyway, believe it or not, I found Duplicolor car and truck paint in Pure White. This was $1.69 per large can at a surplus, outlet store. I've bought six cans or so until they had no more.
I used it on the bumper cover and feathered it on the drivers fender in a few areas.
Addendum: Also the new spoiler. I almost forgot.
I simply rub it out with Maguires Ultimate compound, and clean and seal it with that once a year polymer/cleaner-polish in the orange bottle.
That is really all I do with no painters tools to speak of.
I think the moderator in control is accidentally allowing outside posts on these threads, (software programming? not sure.) but thanks much none the less.

Yesterday, 7-27-13. A friend organizes a remote control flying club and needed some assistance at an event. They had complete run of a local airstrip and after the days events, allowed me to make a wide open run down the runway.
I have an in car video, but a couple people took video for Youtube. I will add a link when I find it.
Starting at the far end of the runway, I built speed somewhat gradually but quickly. I had to let off after reaching about 110 MPH while still climbing at around 5500 RPM.
I had to stop but there was more left in it.
I was happy nothing broke, burnt, blew off, or came loose. After only putting two months into this car, it seems I evidently learned much from the two years I've put into the '93 Sedan. This site has been the most appreciated of all.

I will attempt to share the two videos from my Fly By.
There is a YouTube link. I have a great, inside the car, video I will need to convert.
If anyone has questions, feel free to PM.

I'm glad you enjoy the thread.LASteve wrote:Great thread! You've inspired me to get a prancing moose sticker.
I had one experience that made the sticker worth every penny.
While exiting the freeway on a trip, a group of people in a Subaru were exiting behind me. I noticed the driver laugh and point the sticker out to his wife. She also laughed after what appeared to be getting the joke explained by her husband. I then saw the couple in the back looking between the seats laughing in appreciation.
I smiled.

Nuff said.
All are actually magnets. I remove them when I wash the cars.
They are interchangeable.
I have the larger ones in yellow, but do not yet have the car for the application.?
The small ones on the fenders are the thick polymer.
