Timing - It seems to be a cold weather issue but I can check it.

Perhaps when these car get old timing becomes more or absolutely critical? Especially in cold weather as in my case and "mt98t5" after all the rest of the parts check out.

What brand/type plugs do you have? A weak spark could cause the car to flood. Also, how old are your wires and what brand are they?

Hello members, I just wanted to post back into this thread that I found my no-start problem after verifying a few more things. It turned out to be the EVAP purge solenoid that is mounted to the fan shroud. I pulled the line and applied vacuum and noticed I tasted raw gas. After I hooked up my mityvac with a vacuum gauge I could see it drop after I applied the vacuum. I took a piece of plastic hose and closed one end and attached to the port on the intake to block it off, and I have not had any starting issues since.

My theory is that gas vapors accumulate into the charcoal canister and once the engine tries to start in the cold, it got overloaded with gas and would foul my plugs.

Sorry to take so long to reply but I have been super busy and haven't really had time to look at the car.

I cleaned the spark plugs (NGK iridium and Bosch 7mm ultra premium wires) charged the battery and still nothing. I tried unplugging the MAF to see if that was the problem but I got the same result. The fuel pump is definitely running.

What else should I check? I have a decent toolkit but pretty kinda limited knowledge, I'm also limited by not having a garage here in Wisconsin.

I would confirm spark again.. If you have that and can smell fuel it's likely flooding. Try disconnecting fuel pressure regulator line (look under fuel rail. Small plastic line goes to throttle body tee). Then if no gas in that line, try removing evap valve connection. Mounted to the fan shroud and connects to intake, hose comes out facing radiator. Plug off where the hose went with something an try to fire it up. You may need to blow torch your plugs dry before it will fire tho.
