It is now more than four years keeping eye on this leak. The leaking fluid accumulates at the bottom of the AG and drips - AG is coated and wet with fluid.
The search of Turbo Return Line (Turbo Drain Pipe) brings up discussions of replacing gasket and and o'ring, but not much on repairing in an AWD configuration. Is AG blocking access and repair?
TIA.

2014D VIDA procedure is specific to the leak at the turbo return line, i.e, replacing gasket and o'ring. It does not provide how to get to the line. However, turbocharge removal procedure details are helpful.
Has anyone worked with above procedure involving removing heat deflector cover over the turbo, cross stay over suspension turrets, and charged air hose? The 17mm hallow screw for coolant connection is accessible from above too.
This may be a good 200,000 miles service project to include the rear cam seal, replace gaskets at the exhaust manifold, etc.
What would you add in my to-dos?
Thanks!

I now have a low-profile creeper to hover underneath. Cleaned the wetness around the bevel gear casing, and further up around turbo fittings. The task of turbo drain repair is possible without removing bevel gear - there is ample space for tactile signals with proper tools.
The creeper:

Our 2001 V70XC will reach 200,000 miles. PCV, and radiator are showing age.
Here is how it looks with engine cover off. There was oil in the spark plug well 3, 4 when I replaced the spark plugs early fall. But today each well was dry with a hint of moisture in 4 & 5. Unless someone says otherwise, I'm imagining head gasket failure in the future. Your thoughts? How to disconnect fuel line? The line to steering pump is also in the way. Happy Holidays!

Not significant enough to point to head gasket failure. You can get some oil seeping on top of the head which will end up in the spark plug holes
That fuel line is released with a " fuel line tool" ( sorry), you can also make an AC tool work, or split a BIC (Tm) pen case. You have to force a piece in from the left to rely eve spring tension, then slide the two pipes apart

Remove the black backup latch by prying down in this view on RH side and then slip it left and pop it off. You have to do this first before you can slide a cuff tool in towards right to psuh the latching springs outward so the lines can be slid apart.

Thanks jimmy, for including the first step I left off.
The seal is oring inside, the springs just tension the pipe to stop it from sliding out.
The left hand pipe slides out of the bell shaped housing in the middle. Relieve fuel pressure first. Put a towel under it catch the dribble when you break the connection

Thank you! I'm making progress.
Started out with the new Volvo fuel filter that's been on the shelf for more than three years.
Rust had creeped deep inside the connection. I did not know since the connecting hose covered 3/4 of it. Struggled to pull and separate while being careful not to break the press & snap type connector. Even after collecting most of it in a jar, fuel dripped non-stop. Lesson: check it yearly, clean and put a light coat of anti-seize over filter nipples to minimize rust buildup.
Notice the buildup of rust forming a ring. I imagine it was much thicker. Before install, used the brake cleaner to carefully remove and wash the rust fragments left inside the press & snap connection. Unless there is a mesh/screen/filter to collect the finer particles downstream. I expect chocking fuel rail. Any thoughts?
