That sucks.

Are you going to replace it or see how far you get with glue-ing it together?
Btw: nothing a few rolls of duct tape wont fix ;)

You need URO magic intercooler tape....sure to last 1/2 way to your destination.

For those wondering if I'm trying to break my 850, I'm not. Am I pushing it? Yes.

I love my car. It's a fact that the replacement value is low, and thus replacement easy, and this makes me comfortable with running high boost.

I'm too embarrassed to post a pic of the epoxy job. The epoxy started curing well before the 60 second claim on the package. I'd say I had 15 seconds to get it up and on the underside of the intercooler. If I could have turned the car upside down it would have been cake.

I'm dragging my feet on this.

Update: the epoxy mostly closed the large crack in the intercooler. There's still some air getting by, and I have the boost turned way down to 4psi.

(I don't drive much, usually to my son's school to pick him up, drop him off, grocery store etc.)

I'm going to bite the bullet and get a metal FMIC, probably from eBay. Around $200 with shipping, ugh. Then there's the piping, which, for non-junk, is easily over $100.

I'll have to chop around behind the bumper to make it fit. No biggie.

I'm getting around 15mpg around town and NO CODES. A BLOWN INTERCOOLER triggers no codes. I learn something every day, I guess.

Funny how picky they can be about the smallest things, and a broken hose and/or cracked intercooler and it doesn't seem to notice (but you sure do!)

Car didn't notice, but I sure noticed it was missing about 50 HP.
