Replace the REAR cam seals.
Do the glove test on dipstick housing, regardless, pull the dipstick up a bit until you have time to tackle the PCV system.

I got the leaking seal replaced behind the crank position sensor. It was very straight forward and very obvious that was the issue. The old seal was removed with my fingers. The oil leak has stopped, which is good. I am not sure if I am going to replace the seal behind the distributor or not. If it ain't broke, or should I go ahead and do it?
Hopefully this weekend I can tackle the pcv. Just from a visual inspection, I would say the ptc needs to be cleaned. That whole area is filthy and covered in sludge.

clean the PTC before tearing the rest of it apart. it's a bit of wrestling but ultimately not a hard part to get at, and if it's clogged up as balls maybe cleaning that is all you'll need - after all, the previous owner had the PCV done recently. costs nothing but time and a bit of carb cleaner.

You can remove the PTC but it is a SOB to put back on the way the rubber mount plugs into the intake snorkel. Removing the snorkel isn't that big of a deal, just go after the hose clamp at the turbo inlet from the top, the head on the hose clamp should be right at the 12:00 position. There are two hoses that plug in at the PTC area and another one from the turbo control valve that plugs into the snorkel just past the joint with the MAF sensor.

I just remove the hose at the top of the PTC, it had a Oetiker hose clamp but I removed it. I sprayed carb cleaner and it disolved the gunk, I am not sure if the gunk will just move down into the valve itself and clog somewhere else? I figured, the carb cleaner liquified the gunk and it was burned in the engine
I did this because as stated above, it is not easy to remove. No need to replace the clamp, it is a snug fit

Like Lee said, just take out the snorkel tube. Using a small screwdriver it is then trivial to reinsert the PTC. Also gives you good access to the vacuum lines down there which may need changing.
It can be difficult to get the PTC clean, usually you need to ream something through the hole (a little circular brush works great), I don't think a shot of carb cleaner from above will do much on the typical gooey/crusty mess but might work if it isn't very dirty. The snorkel is also often full of oil and gunk, you can clean up the whole thing.
