Both of those videos where very very helpful. Thank you I need to replace my pcv and another question I have is. If my air temperature sensor is plugged in my car boggs out at roughly 3k rpms and wont go over and also has a hesitation at take off but if I unplug that sensor it drives down the road great with no bogging loss of power or hesitation but it idle hunts really bad at a stop because there is a big hole in the air intake where the sensor belongs. Would the sensor being bad cause all that or do I have another issue? I went ahead and ordered a new sensor it should be here on the 30th. Also I belive my electric throttle module is going bad any recommendations on that? I have seen some on ebay and everyone has a date in the description. What exactly it this date? And there a bit price does anyone have one or know someone who has one they will sell a little cheaper? Thanks again everyone.

Is the ETS light on? If not, your throttle module is probably OK or perhaps just dirty. If you clean it try to avoid solvent on the position sensors on the end and also avoid drowning the rod for the butterfly valve on the inside. Carb cleaner hastens the demise of the sensors if it penetrates the cases.

Deal with air leaks first and see where that gets you. Used throttle modules may or may not work without a software download. The best module to get is an XEMODEX converted ETM but beyond that you want a yellow sticker version. The white sticker versions are real bad and should be avoided.

After all the engine issues get resolved you need to get the strut top hardware fixed. The washers on top of the struts are upside down and the T nut that should be below the washer is missing. The way it is assembled now will make the ride harsher and much noisier.

Sorry for taking so long to read this interesting thread.

Looking at the picture you posted, there also looks like oil leaking from the union between the power-steering reservoir and the rubber pipe running to the back of the engine. It looks like there is no pipe clamp on the pipe! Maybe I'm just imagining it?!

Good luck with your project!

Neil.
