Hi again,

Thanks for the reply.

I have lug wrench, decent one too, and sockets, hex wrenches, open end wrenches, box wrenches, various odds and ends.

What i dont have yet are:
jack stands
good jack (have the one that came with the car, barely a jack, and a bottle jack which i think is useless for this low riding body)

I intended to get these things too as i see some decent prices but i am not sure of the quality as i read some bad reviews, so i might have to go with a better quality jack at some point.
What kind of jack and jack stands do you recommend?
I had a pair of jack stands a long time ago, but they were thin metal anyway that i did not trust.
I thought we would jack up the car using the original car jack, then insert a jack stand, keeping the original jack there too so we have two supports for the car instead of one, as i dont trust just one.
But if you have better ideas that's great.

Thanks again.
BTW, you have a favorite beer brand ?
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.
1998 v70, non turbo, FWD, base model, on the road from April 2nd, 2015 to July 26, 2023.
