98 S70 won't start

I'll give the plug in thing a try tomorrow (dark out now).

So, what happens if I leave the MAF unplugged for a while and drive it around. Does it screw up anything or just kill the efficiency by messing with the fuel air mixture.

I will probably try to clean it if the plug thing doesn't work but will also order one to be covered anyway. If I am succesful in cleaning, I'll post what I did for anyone willing to take the risk as it sounds like there is not really a reliable procedure that anyone has found.
