Does the rubber on the IPD last as long as the Mitsubishi replacement kit?

JDS60R is right, be careful; these turbos are stout but too stiff a spring is one way to kill them after WOT then no throttle

To me, it looks like an OEM membrane, and iPD has changed out the retainer thingy with a metal one instead of plastic, and stiffer springs. I tend to trust iPD stuff as well, since everything I've bought from them has been good sh1t. ;)

It seems that the blue spring is working fine in my case - pressure is released like it should be, even from WOT to nothing, no chuffing at all, just slightly quieter than it used to be. Going for the red one w/o the proper setup would probably be a mistake, though, and better safe than sorry. ;)
