My rear main would still be leaking something awful if Robert had not been willing to drive 200 mi. further south than he had originally planned to help pull the engine on my wagon. If you are situated to host and meet the Spinners, don't miss the opportunity. We haven't had so much fun since last Sept. when they were here! BTW, his value-adding autograph and the date are under the hood of my 850. :P :D

I would encourage anyone who can to donate or compensate him to enable him to continue his valuable contribution to the Volvo community.

Lol, you guys are nuts. Thanks for the post.

I'm in LA and haven't done as much Volvo stuff as I'd like. Let me know if I can help anyone with your car. I have most of my tools.

Wow, I guess I will have to wait until rspi comes out east.

But, in the meanwhile, it looks like he and I have a shared Brick history, having also owned a '79 262C, a 78 264, and various 960s

Robert,

I live six hours West of Boston and am looking forward to you swinging by on your 'Western' tour.

The dead pets in the living room would make anyone uncomfortable. You're
welcome to stay with me and my mother-in-law. She doesn't bother anyone
and she doesn't smell funny (any more).

We really really need a patron. Robert is our spiritual guru, but what about a place to work in? We need someone with acres to host a crazy Volvo weekend: ten-twenty cars, air tools, flood lights, tents, composting toilets, beer, meats, live-cam feed... A Burning Man for Volvo enthusiasts.

I think if any of the big suppliers were to support it, everyone would end up buying a bunch of stuff...

a "burning man for Volvo entusiasts."

OK, my wife already thinks I am nuts, how would I explain that one?

(will this land allow us to secretly store our bricks that we have bought without our spouse's knowledge? I am all in!)

His western tour does not seem to be as helpful, successful, or exciting as the eastern tour was.
