Hi Guys

Many thanks...Thurs 12 and Fri 13 Jan...I done as you suggested above Mike...when we done that...the symbol went off...yesterday even left car running for 15 mins...But every time I turned the car off...then started the car again...symbol came back on again!

So exciting thought we had it...so now should I proceed as you suggested before...and buy a code reader? Or would it cost a lot of money to take to "some-one"...would this have to be a "Volvo dealer"...to check it out?

You are clearing the code with the battery trick but it's resetting right away. That usually means it's something simple.

Get a cheap,code reader if you like car and want to,keep,it for a year or more

Hi Abscate...thank you...you are an angel...I will order one in the morning (Monday) had Sat & Sunday with grandchildren. Many thanks. I will let you know when code reader arrives...will take a few days as I live 300 kms SW of Perth, WA.

Yes...just turned over 106,000 kms...drives really well...will keep for a couple of years if possible.
