I ran slotted rotors on the rear of the 1999T5M and was thankful when the rear calipers seized and killed them. Horrible chattering and vibration on braking when the rears pulled in. The only upside is it trained me to brake more carefully to keep the noise down.
Went back to Bosch and much, much happier - no more fillings needed to be replaced
