What is a good material to cut my own trunk mat?

For my '77 Ford truck I made new floor mats from 1/8 inch rubber mat from industrial supply house. No texture and easy to cut to fit, but will not mold to shapes. Should last forever, water proof, cleanable. You will want of air it out for several weeks maybe, unless you like the smell of new tires.

KALASONEER or LINLA Absorbent Oil Spill Mats.
Both have:
  • 1. Water proof backing.
    2. Felt like top coat.
    3. Easy to cut.
    3. Washable.
In a gray or black interior one hardly notices they are there.
