I'll bet it hurts when you lose your footage in an accident, losing your handage hurts, too.

Or... just thought of this, maybe you have AdBlocker turned on for MVS, in which case you probably won't see anything.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

I ordered a Vantrue N2 pro today off of Amazon. A week ago Thursday I was running in the far left lane of a 3 lane beltway interstate with the cruise control on 75mph without a car in sight. When a creep in a Honda Pilot got on and swung across three empty lanes nearly clipping my S80 than nailed the breaks. Had the S80s breaks not worked well I would have rear ended the Honda and it would have been my fault. A dash camera would have been nice had a accident occurred.

Innocently that landed my Volvo in the dealer for new breaks all around where the car still is. I had other things done as well. I can't wait to have my baby back and give them back their loaner. The Vantrue N2 arrives Monday and hopefully I get my car back Monday. Once I use the camera I will post my thoughts on this model. June

Are insurance companies insisting on video footage or real-time photos to determine fault and/or claims? That seems like quite a burden to place on drivers. That being said, I have considered putting in a dash cam. With all the Maseratis and Infinitis here in my part of Queens, you are guaranteed to see at least a handful of traffic infractions every time you step outside. But at $140... that's nuts! There are some $20 ones on eBay! :lol:

I'm guessing if you can provide footage showing that another company should pay that they'll be very interested even if they don't require it.

I'm guessing with $20 dashcam proving who's who can be more difficult :-D

August 03, 2017 7 reasons to use a dashboard camera

New York lawmakers have put up a Bill that if made into law would require car insurance companies to give a 5 percent discount to passenger vehicles who have installed a dashboard camera.
