Gas in Chicago is 20-50 cents more than home depending where I'm at, city or suburbs. But to fill up there once in awhile is worth the extra penny. I don't know exactly what the specified additive mix is for RFG fuels, but I have caught over the years that at least one of them is specifically meant to help keep injectors clear. Because fouled injectors = higher emissions in the form of unburnt fuel and soot = more pollution and smog which is what RFG is meant to address. In addition RFG stipulates 'ultra low sulphur'.

I live in that green swab through Maryland so that’s good right?
What’s going on chemically with fuel in my area that’s better for the car though, just curious.
Quick google search and it seems like we probably use more ethanol in RFG areas

Dang, I spent about $5652 on fuel last year.abscate wrote: 27 May 2018, 18:55 It’s about $100 to get them ultrasonic cleaned, so if your fuel costs are average of $2400 per year, ypu would need a 5% mph improvement to pay off in one year

I haven’t used this company but the before and after videos on there site makes me want to send mine out somewhere later in the summer.

Just based on the video I can see it making at least some difference in more efficient combustion.
