I should add that, thanks to volvolugnut, I re-gapped all the “oem properly gapped spark plugs” from advance auto.

that gap looked ridiculously big for any gas engine.

Not as forgiving as Fords I guess, thought since they owned them at the time, I’d be ok.

All the basics of automotive technology still apply, but much of the details are different with Volvos. More like race horses than plow horses. And I own a Ford truck as well.
