UPDATE...
- Got a vacuum hose with I.D. = 1/4" or so.
- Cut a piece with a length < 1/2".
- Slit it longitudinally.
- Install as shown + Zip Tie.
- Works perfect!
PS: First piece of rubber fell inside the hood space, could not retrieve it lol.
I had to cut another piece of vacuum hose.
So, place a rag or paper towel just below where you work in case you drop the piece of rubber hose,
you can easily retrieve it.
Anyway, this should be permanent fix. Or until the 1-way valve fails.
Will report back from time to time, but so far so good.
