thanks for that, I will certainly look harder, it must really be tucked in there, i have felt and followed the whole thing, but what a blessing if it is! Would be much much easier!

good day guys, and thanks for the help
so, so far on this volvo, much of it isn't conventional. I put the tow hitch on and the mount bolts were by all accounts 17mm, but mine were 15mm, given in the right place, and after all, it mounted up proper and all
but here is my pics of my wiring harness, and the only plug in's I have are just to the rear of the fuse box
first pic is viewing toward passenger side
2nd pic is viewing near battery
3rd is viewing the passenger side tail light area
4th is the main trunk line
5th/6th is near the fuse box
so, could i plug in a 4 point harness to the plugs near the fuse box??? Its not the plug I have seen others use but its all that I can find and I've pulled the trim piece off and there isn't anything under it. The colors of the wires should be a give away but I am not sure which is which if that would work?
thanks a bunch! You all are a life saver

I just went out and looked, its not visible by removing the tool tray and trim over the door latch, thats why I wired my own loom but its there as I found out. It requires pulling the tire, jack etc and the rubber liner peeling back.
