Re: Thanks for using the MVS-Amazon link!

Post by matthew1 »

Since I drive my car about 1/10th as much as I do in normal times, I have it hooked up to my Deltran battery tender. I bought the (older version) of this model about 7 or 8 years ago. It works perfectly. There's not much to go wrong with using these, except for reversing the alligator clips (please don't do this).

Lately, Amazon has been putting shipping dates on products as much as 4 weeks out, but I ordered kitty litter recently and go it within a week. Your mileage may vary.

I have been taking her on the beltway about once a week to satisfy my NEED FOR SPEED! And to get away to feel normal for a few. I get that it's a suggestion to use the Amazon link. Now that you added that button at the top of the screen I will actually use it. Previous I could not figure out how to find the link. So this is a big two thumbs up for that link!!!! June

Matthew, is any way to get an Amazon link for North of the 49th? I use Amazon in Canada a fair amount and it would be great to help the cause with an Amazon.ca link. Bringing stuff over the border causes us a headache in Canada as there is no return process and we also pay duty and cross border handling charges.

Thanks,

Neil.

I bought these hedge shears almost two weeks ago and it works great! Chop chop snip chop for a couple hours the first day I had it -- till my forearms ached. I got a lot done. I filled up a gigantic wheeled recycle bin with clippings.

My yard is almost ready for spring.

I browse things often on Amazon sometimes days (weeks) before purchase.
Does MVS get a cut for browsing? I hope so.

Regardless, when I purchase from Amazon, I click the MVS link to get there.

alschnertz, no juice for browsing. But yes for buying :-)

As far as how long you have from browsing to buying before the MVS juice wears off, here it is straight from the horse's mouth:
You earn advertising fees on any qualifying items placed in a customer's Shopping Cart within 24 hours of their arrival at Amazon.com via your Associates link. However, this 24-hour window closes once the customer submits his order or reenters Amazon.com through another Associate's link. Once the window is closed, you will not earn advertising fees on any subsequent purchases. However, if the customer then returns to Amazon.com through one of your Associates links, this opens a new 24-hour window.

It is of course possible that a customer may arrive at Amazon.com via your Associates link, add an item to his Shopping Cart, and then leave Amazon.comwithout placing an order. As long as the item was added to the customer's Shopping Cart during this 24-hour window, you will still earn a referral fee if the order is placed before the Shopping Cart expires (usually after 90 days). The referral fee will not be credited to your Associates account until the customer has purchased the item, accepted delivery, and remitted full payment to Amazon.com.
