Connector looks similar to one in his 2.5T wire harness (I bought one for the future repair).

I believe 2.5 has two VVT connectors. I only have one so 2.4 would be better choice.

That looks great.
Was the Nivomat project something you pioneered or had you seen it done before on an XC?

Nivomats were stock on our X70s in some trims. Installation is bolt-on, just buy the shocks and springs.

I keep telling my wife “I think there’s just one more thing I’m going to do to the XC70...”

Boy those self leveling shocks would be great.

I found a seller in UK. Did you get them stateside? I’m guessing more listings populate searching for self leveling vs Nivomat.

I got the kit from FCP in a hope for the lifetime warranty, in case I need it at some point in the future ;) TascaParts is the cheapest, I think. You need a pair of 30681745 and 8666292. Real conversion kit also includes its own 19 mm thick rear stabilizer bar, which I decided to omit, since the car already got a more sturdy bar from V70R.

I did the same thing when purchasing all 4 of my VR 4C shocks - FCP. Thank you for the part numbers!
