For EU market...yes.
U.S market had them earlier...i think from '94.

Lots of penetrating oil soaking for several days with some lite hammer taps. Then make sure to have good quality torx bits.

Regarding the rust - You could try a 50/50 solution of ATF and acetone. Shake well and apply. Seems to work surprisingly well.
Looks like you might need a grinder to modify the head on at least one of those screws so you could either grab it with vise grips or cut a slot for a large slot head screwdriver.
Try to learn life's bad lessons vicariously through others.

Try using one of these manual impact tools. They are cheap and work very well.
