Ill take a picture of the ECU's on the weekend and post it, maybe i read the words wrong on it?

Edit:
My bad i was confused with the labeling of the ECU's as they said j4.2 and j7.2 if i recall correctly. Will upload pictures later

Don't bother...it can ONLY be M4.4 in '97 & '98 non-turbo B5254S.

The running issue was fixed with a new set of sparkplugs and a used ignition coil. The plugs were worn out completely which resulted in rough running and some smoke. Now the car runs smoothly and happily. Time to tackle the locked brakes on the 99'

Could be that coil replacement wasn't needed since spark plugs were that worn.

We tested with just new plugs and it was really rough, put in the used coil and it returned to normal. I have a feeling that it was not serviced in a good number of kilometers as the plugs were just gone :lol: .
