Are these the mysterious ports in the rear ( right side of engine) that we have always wondered about?Oil feed line needs some bending because the pre '99 block has oil "squirt windows" in the way.

Apparently yes. Behind them are the piston oil squirters that were not used in later whiteblocks. I guess the windows are for access during assembly?

The oil squirters are used on turbo models; I have them on my 99 RN block.
