Should I change my 2015 Battery?...

The battery will always bite when it is the worst possible time.

Several years ago I told a friend the battery in his 2000 Nissan Truck sounded weak. Yep, got a call a week or two later to take him to Costco as he was stuck at his insurance company.

Everyone knows you save money and gas as you approach the rest stop, “ next rest stop 40 miles” and the “ miles to empty “ says 45. You can make it!

That little fuel tank light says you just stuck it to the man.

The battery voltage also varies about 0.2v with the temperature. Slightly lower in cold weather, higher in hot weather

in my old volvo 740 I had a habit of only buying 1/4 tank of gas, but fuel pump was rarely submerged in fuel and the motor melted.

Or just leave it for now... I'm not sure. The temp here has not dipped to -20 C˚ yet but i expect that within 2 mths. My Multimeter currently says it's at 11.9V with the engine off. 14.3ish with the engine running idle with radio/AC off. 6mths ago the reading with the engine off was 12.3.) ...

Three tests with voltmeter, AT NORMAL TEMPERATURES:

Check voltage with:
1. Car off. Should be 12.6 volts with good battery.
2. When starting car. It shouldn't drop much below 10 volts.
3. With engine running. Should be around 14.5 volts.

Given that you have a NOCO battery booster, make sure you keep it charged if you decide not to change your battery immediately.

Push start an automatic? Good trick that!

Took at 45min trip the other morn and after being parked for about an hr the car would not start. Luckily i had the NOCO Booster with me and i was able to get back home. Voltage was around 13.6 with the engine idle when i got back.

Is there a way to turn off the car alarm fully without disconnecting the battery?

Yes, see earlier post by oragex you can remove the alarm siren fuse.
