Zip ties onto the inside of the upper grille. I used to find the zip-ties might pull through the cardboard at higher speeds. So run a couple of small washers through the zip-tie loop on the back of the cardboard to spread the load and pill the zip-tie tight at the outside of the grill.

This will work up to around +10C MAX!!!. Always watch the temp gauge when ambient temp gets above 0C (+32C) to be safe.

Sometimes the simplest solutions work the best. We call it the Saskatchewan solution. Lots of ingenious solutions come out of that province that are simple and effective.

There should be a small 4mm hole on the bottom edge of the intercooler near the lower hose or lowest part of the intercooler. I believe in the early days some cars did not have them so drill a small hole at the lowest point about 3/16" in diameter.

The problem may still exist even if you do this as there is a build up of oil in the intercooler from the turbo as it ages. It gets hard in the cold and acts like artery blockers and trap water/condensation in the cooling fins. I removed the intercooler and had a radiator repair company clean the intercooler before drilling and bolting the mounting brackets back on (the always fall off with time).
