Buddies I grew up with and the local demolition derby officials had a label for them cars .... Tank.
One mopped up the competition in a derby. After that, banned for use in demolition derbies.

June wrote: 15 Apr 2021, 06:47 Well forget guns! It's simple... if you are a wimp as RickHaleParker puts it and wish to kill the multitudes, simply get a 70's Continental Town Car and plow as many pedestrians till your heart is content! No gun, knife, or anything else needed... Substitute any real American car, or perhaps a 240 wagon for the Continental! Just the Continental at 5,000# and 460 under the hood with its great roaring sound will terrify those pesky people as you wipe them out😀🏁🏴‍☠️

Now in all seriousness, i thought MVS had rules about political subjects?! June
I think your example has been used already in recent years and some with a much larger vehicle while heavily accessorized to inflict greater casualties. I'm not the sharpest on this history but it didn't seem to be an issue years ago. Regardless, everything can be turned into politics and everything is political because the ability to think critically went out the door in the 1950's as stated by Matt in another post. The relativism of everyone has a right to be right is now I'm more right than what you say is right. The this is my truth also comes to mind.

Since, there is the freedom and it's still a right to bear arms I don't get into any discussions with people on this nor look at either sides of the conversation as again We The People still have the right to choose how we want to protect ourselves. Maybe someday I'll exercise that right to a bear arm as I have wimpy arms and more so as I age?

I just found that logic about the homework interesting and you got the idea which took someone else to explain to me  . Again, political only if people want it to be. I'm not triggered by either sides of the conversation and I hope people will always get to exercise that freedom to choose how to protect themselves. Under Disallowed, I try not to disrespect others when discussing anything is where I hope keep myself on this Forum and in everyday life. Thanks June.

When mentioning political, i was not referring to the original post, but the banter that ensued about guns. Actually, if that happened for real he would likely be suspended for several days... Thought I would clarify! You must have thought I was nuts?!... June

Hell no ... the nuts would start claiming they need a Howitzer for self defense.

Ladies and gentlemen, thanks for keeping it civil, but guns are intrinsically political unless the discussion is about their technical workings or crafting or history, etc*.

Therefore, I'm locking this.

*That scope is completely ok here. I'd welcome it in fact.
