This is the most civilized group of ladies and men on auto Fora , anywhere. The ratio of good information / chest thumping is the highest on the inter webs by decades

Have to agree, asking is how you learn regardless of intent. Have broken things, rebuilt things, and fixed many things from my short ownership of cars starting in 2016.

This forum has been far better then others i have been apart of as its active, made up of many DIYers, does not criticize knowledge, and is not afraid to get their hands dirty. We learn through experience of which a lot of it is presented up here.

Yeah, I'm used to a lot more rude. This is unsettling..... :wink:

I have a funny thing going on right now on my Alfa project - I'm e-talking with a supplier in Australia with an $80(US) rebuild kit for my 56 year old fuel pump. I'm e-talking with my normal parts supplier in the UK about a reproduction pump for $35, which they say is fine. Then the Alfa forum guys here in the US advising me to go this way or that way.

Average age of the Alfa forum I think is way above MVS. Many curmudgeons crabbing about how nobody knows how to do it the right way. Then the BMW E30 forum is all 25 and arguing.
