I don’t think ‘ Bump’ is a good name. Likewise

Crash
Denton
Nova
Stahl

Are all regrettable.

Bondo: my reaction is meh. Sort of like Crash. May as well call it Still. Or Ice.
Zonda: a good one

A couple more weather-related names (however they are nouns):
Anvil
Squall

Anvil or "The anvil" fits well because these cars are so heavy. And take a beating! Anvil cloud would be red on a radar map.

Squall sounds furious, almost violent, and like it moves through fast.

yes Bondo meh. Im seriously considering ZondaR. I looked up the anvil and squall weather conditions. Anvil clouds are super cool but anvil is a strange (yet simple) word to say. Are the V70s really that heavy? Base 5spd 3259lb, t5 3371lb, XC 3768lb. 2009 impala lt is 3555lb. I want to witness a squall near the ocean. Squall is a strange name for a car. This is actually quite a learning experience. I love weather period.

St. Elmo’s Fire
Looking for a V90 to be my next Volvo, at the very least a T5.

2017 XC90 Inscription - My best Volvo by far, but Ex-wife departed & I had to sell. 😕
2001 S80 T6 - rebuilt trans, head gasket, fixed & sold
1997 V70 - kid car, sold
1996 850 GLT - found under bridge, 2 year refurb project, commuter car, kid car, T-Boned - SIPS saved passenger. Totaled.
1997 VW GTI VR6 - exceedingly fast.
1971 VW Type II/231 - it was pointed out by management that the children would be killed in it.

LOL My mom would probably laugh and think I named my car after SS's Elmo. Everybody knows Im weird but Elmo would only concrete that. Of course Idc and can explain it. LOL St Elmos fire is pretty cool. A much higher level learning experience than previously thought.

So far weve got:
Zonda R
St Elmo's Fire

Is the tornado a legit name. It is related to Oklahoma red tornados which are loud, which of course my red v70 is kinda loud. the windshield rim is messy. But im questioning the legitimacy of that name.

First we need pics!

The second welcome to the team I have a read 98 v70. There's also another dude on here who lives in the US up in Massachusetts, his name is Shane, and we call our little team the Red wagon squadron.

I guess I don't have a name for mine I just call it the volvo. But a name that stuck in my head when reading this thread for your red V70......is...

CINDY

I don't know why but that's it one vote for Cindy!

Where are you located? I'm in Florida and Shane is up in Massachusetts, United States
