99 V70 turns over, no start

This happened to our 2000 V70 today. Two start stalls followed by no crank.

I have cleaned and lubed the antenna ring conectors plus connected and disconnected them many times.

Still no start.

The OE ring is NLA but a local salvage yard has three. I’m not sure what else to do.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I’d hate to see such a useful car become grounded over such a small thing.

It’s an immobilized fault but probably not the antenna ring. Try another key first.

You will need VIDA to see if the key is talking correctly to the ECU and display , CDM

Did this happen suddenly or has it been getting glitchy ?
