Anything for someone from Cambridge full stops, cousin of Oxford commas.
I still think those transfer lines are shuttling oil under 100 psi. Good hydraulic hose and double oetiker clamps might do the deed in 15 minutes, just Dremel off the line leaving the fitting in place

Just adding a couple of pictures to this thread as it may help down the line, Don't have any LHR pictures currently, I'll try to take some when I do the summer tire swap.
The pipe tales quite the journey from the LH side to the RH side along the front (inaccessible side) of the rear sub-frame. It is totally hidden by the rear of the fuel tank and it's hanger straps. When I had my sub-frame out I took a precaution and replaced this hard-line pipe due to the amount of corrosion we suffer from here in the winter.
Neil.

On the FWD vehicles the shuttle lines are brake flare fittings, not the flange o- ring style. That’s only used on the return line

Parallel 12mm x 1mm is what I think correct thread pitch, very similar to the brake fittings 10mm x 1mm diameter being only difference.
I put my old soldered line back on in hopes it holds together until I'm able to source a suitable replacement.
cheers
