Oetiker might be difficult to crimp in tight space.

If you want Norma clamps, buy different sizes from FCPEuro.com (search their website for "Norma" or "BMW clamps" etc.), about $1.00-$2.00/each, I can't remember.
Just buy different sizes so you always have them in stock.

Some yrs ago, I bought a mixture of different sizes from FCPEuro (I spent about $30 on clamps), I have found them to be great and save my Sunday adventure lol...

If you are in a bind, then regular clamp is fine until you get something better...

I had an Oetiker tool once - there is no way to get that thing in there - great tool if your work is on the work bench. I'm going to try to find the clamps that don't have the thread slots exposed to the rubber.. I forgot the name... They are narrow, too and maybe I can replace the clamp in situ. Once i figure out how to get the original off..

PS - the clamps are called Norma - Metric? Once before I replaced Oetiker clamps with norma, and they fit in right in.
I suppose I could try it out and hope it stops the leak..

You need the Knipex oetiker tool that crimps side on and end on. You can get it in that space on both of those hoses

I wish I could borrow one. Maybe the clamp just needs to be tightened, but can you do that on an Oetiker? I was told that you leave them alone once they are in place and clamped down.

You can tighten the clamp if it's not crimped down all the way but you are correct it is not meant to be adjusted over time, or over crimped. But it would be a reasonable band-aid. Long term though I'd replace the hose unless you know it is a quality replacement installed recently. Once and done unless you have the car forever.

Thanks - This is temporary for sure. I'm going to see if I can get to it from the top.
