Thanks, those are the original seats re-dyed. The wheels are 15x7’s with 195/60R-15 tires. I think they worked out great. Absolutely no rubbing. I leaned to the conservative side.

Rattlecan Rustoleum for the win !
Old Leo was onto something there.
I was always pretty impressed with how solid the floor pans were. Glad you're having a good time with it.

Hahahaha. Yeah, that old paint job has grown on me. I forgot to mention that I put a new windshield in w/ seal and trim. It had a little rust, but not much. I took care of that before installing the windshield and repainted it silver, then that looked a little weird with a ring of new silver around it. So I fixed the surface issues on the roof and repainted it along with the hood. Rattle can of course. 😂

I actually did not seal it to the body yet b/c I am going to paint at some point. I never drive old Leo in the rain. I want to pop it out cleanly when I’m ready. I had it in and out a couple times fitting it. The front windshield is a piece of cake. I bought a rear windshield w/ defroster, seal and chrome trim that I have sitting in the house that I may seal in properly because it’s a pain to install and I won’t want to deinstall to paint. On another note, I removed Leo’s funky dash toggle switch for High/Low beam switching and put that back to stock using a new foot switch. That hole in the dash is where I installed a defroster NOS switch from the Volvo 140 series. I also wired the headlights, OD, Defroster and electric radiator fan through relays so that current is no longer flowing through the ignition switch now. The switches actuate the relays and all are on separate fuses from the battery to the relays to the devices.

All good upgrades to protect the old wiring and simple 4 ? fuse fuse box. Nice you are able to get a rear windshield with defrost. I had one of those stick on ones that while it worked was not that great.

I agree on the rear windshield. The screen is not terrible, it is the metal (aluminum?) trim strips that were a pain to fit. I think my 123GT lived out it's life with use with that joining part missing!

The fresh glass gaskets will likely seal just fine on their own. Volvo didn't use any goo when they built the car, time and tide made the old stuff brittle.

Well I installed the rear windshield this past week or so. I removed the old one, cleaned and treat some minor rust, sanded and painted the rear section of the silver panels. I didn’t need to phone a friend for the install. The windshield seal seated over the body lip easily. I used a couple of big suction cup/handles I got from Harbor Freight to pull on it from the inside while I was pulling the gasket lip through with the cord. I cleaned and painted the hat shelf panel and added some sound deadening sheets. I added the early style overdrive emblem. I didn’t drill any holes for it, I just cut off the tabs and used some 3M moulding tape. The hardest part of this whole job was the bottom windshield chrome trim piece. That drew a few cuss words. 😂

I took Leo to the Richmond Antique Auto show the other weekend. I did the cruise-in show field, non-judged. A lot of people stopped by to check him out and talk. I replaced the headliner and windlace before the show and I re-enabled the AC system yesterday. I had to cut the lines to the condenser last winter b/c the bolt for the top alternator arm broke (front of the engine block). The only way to get it out was to go straight at it, which meant the radiator and condenser had to come out. I put in some new hoses and receiver dryer and drew it down. I also did the typical things you do to a system that has been opened. Anyway, it held vacuum, so I charged it with R12. I sourced some a few months ago. AC is blowing nice and cold 🥶 yay
