I don't know much of American (maybe not American?) cars of this era. I'm thinking late 1940-2 early 1950's Hudson or Packard. Just never seen on with rear spats like that which protrude.
Very interesting concept for a car. I'd call it a 'Business' man's car for travelling salesmen so they could lower the rear seat to make a bed like cars in the 30/40's.

'49-'54 ( or so ) Kaiser Traveler, advertised as a 'utility sedan.' Seems to have been fazed out during the merger with Nash to form AMC.

Not an Aston Martin I don't think.
Might have a bit of Zagato in that rear quarter window shape.
Nice wires like it's British (NEIL??!)
Oh..look at the grille shape - it might be some one-off custom Aston Martin......??

Jensen 541R, one source says 600 total production of various models over nine years., with 193 of those being the R.
