That’s a shame! And he was heralded as such a good driver.

Funny, they show a different blue hardtop - which would be a GTC, for Coupe. GTS = Spider.

ImageThis one came up on marketplace recently. I don't expect you to guess it. I just think it's pretty sweet. It's a 59 Corvette with a body swap after a fire. Maybe you can guess the body?

The hubcaps make me think it might have been a ‘59-‘60-ish Corvette. (Oh, duh, you said ‘59 right there - reading comprehension!)
The body makes me think early Batmobile prototype!

Hint: it's a pretty obscure 60's kit car body on the Corvette chassis and it's been modified a bit. The headrest fairing is an addition, and they put a Vette grille in it.

It looks a lot like the designs Kellison was making in the mid-60s.
