Re shaped the door latch pin so that it never falls off again. Had to remove the door locking mechanism to install the pin. I hope to never do it again.

Just got back from a 971-mile drive (Queens - Pittsburgh - Meadville) and back. Had to drive back in a snowstorm on 76 and 78. It was mostly slow going. But, it was pretty empty which is kind of fun during white out conditions! What wasn't fun was almost getting into two accidents on the drive back. The first involved an Infiniti driver going at least 80 who came up on me out of nowhere, passed me, and decided to pass the semi in front of me on the right... he (or she!) missed a deer by about half a foot. The second involved exiting 76 to get some gas. I made my way up the offramp coming to a full-stop (downshifted all the way to first gear!) before preceding to make a left turn towards the Love's. When all of a sudden, a big white pickup truck, comes flying towards me. He (or she!) was not slowing down... Luckily, I was able to accelerate and not skid off the road. I did skid a little but I was able to correct and make my way towards the gas station...

I wasn't anywhere near that but washed it today anyway. Now it's nice and shiny again.

Last time the car was that dirty I had done a bit more than 2000 km of mostly salty winter driving between washes. Picture below.
