I replaced the passenger side windshield spray nozzle on 2001 V70. It was a straight forward replacement. Genuine Volvo part from FCP. The old one had broken plastic tabs that hold it in place. I blame a hail storm last year for the broken tabs.

changed my tire with a manual tire changer, hard work but at least I know the rims are clean.
I went through 4 tires in 3 yrs on the same wheel with slow leak.
Went to 3 different places, they never fixed the slow leak.

I bought a manual tire changer for that same reason. No one wants to spend the time to clean the rims properly anymore. I have spent more than an hour on a rim to make sure it was perfectly polished and would not leak.
The problem is my tire changer is more difficult to use the shorter the sidewalls are. I have been able to do 55 series tires and taller but with today's tires getting lower and lower I don't think I will be able to use it anymore. I special ordered 17" rims (the smallest available) on our new V60 but they are 50 series tires. I doubt if I could change them myself. Everyone thinks bigger rims are cooler but they are nothing but trouble with damaged rims, harsher ride, harder to balance, shorter tire life and more.
What size tires did you mount?

I just ordered a non-marring duckhead, bolt it to the end of your lever pipe.ljsommar1 wrote: ↑25 Apr 2021, 07:25 I bought a manual tire changer for that same reason. Wow, thanks for that video. He makes me look like quite the dope. I have not been using that C clamp. Hopefully with that tip I will be able to do 50 series tires. The V60 has 225/50R17 tires and they only have an H speed rating so they shouldn't be nearly as stiff.
My tire changer is mounted way better to the garage floor and my tires should be way easier so I won't have any excuses.
Thanks

The C clamp also keeps the bead sitting in the drop zone channel of the rim, if it feels impossible to get the bead over the lip its usually the rest of the bead sitting too high inside the rim. Gotta be in the channel or it won't go.
