Update on the Capital Auctions XC90 V8... last I saw, it was at $2,100 earlier this afternoon. Seems it went on the block later in the day. I didn’t notice how many cars they had in today’s auction, but it seems there were a lot! Auction began at 11. I probably last checked around 2-3.

It's the typical useless dealer ad with a nice set of pics. Pluses: 1 owner car, timing belt done at 108k.
Eh, on second thought it looks pretty beat up.

There is a way to watch live, but since I don't have internet at the house, I never bother.
The run number is shown in the listing, and it's sorta alphabet-by-make; my guess is it probably fell at five-ish.
If there's a listing I'm curious about, I sign in and make a token bid; then it shows up on the bid page with the hammer price, but not the winning bidder ID.

Shipping would be an issue - as Abscate has pointed out - unless you're going to do an in-person pickup. Could be a hike from Charlotte.
That car didn't sell; it's back on the inventory list without a date yet.
There is a chance it is a Dealer consignment. They aren't always up front about that.

Shipping quotes I've seen have been pretty reasonable. Of course, it depends on the car and the sale price, and often times, it's not cost effective. I sure as hell wouldn't be driving up there to pick anything up, 9 times out of 10, it's not worth it.
