Well, thanks to the beautiful weather we suddenly got today, I was able to go out and give her a $1 detail job.

Took her out one last time to put a half tank of gas in and wouldn't you know it, it's not running hot now and the ECU was subtracting 10% fuel so I'm wondering if the last fix I put in (all new Bosch injectors) has actually corrected the running rich problem. That would be just my luck :P

Anyway, she's all ready for you to inspect and if you're good, and you bring a dollar, she's all yours!

Please keep it... this is not a done deal. I'd feel bad if I took the car off you now that it's working.

Don't be silly - I have to unload the car, I'm on to a new project these days (a 2000 Cherokee XJ). Don't have time for it anymore. If you don't get it, it's going on Craigs!

Ok I'll take it. Those CL threats really light a fire under me, I gotta admit.

KHolden, if you have a minute in the morning I’ll need the VIN for insurance.

Thanks!

KHolden, it was a pleasure to meet you. Thanks for going over the bits and pieces on the V70.

She tracks true and 80 MPH is easy. The inline-5 sound is just wonderful. I've missed it.

She might be 25 but she still goes like a bat out of h*ll when that turbo kicks in. If you end up doing a restore be sure to post pics!
