She will get another P2 S60 end of Oct. or so.
This will go to whoever wants to fix it.
She does not want to keep it.
It still has another 100K miles in its lifespan, as we know some in this forum go to 300K miles...
PS: I am not a body work guru, but what I can see from 1200 miles away...
- New LR door from junk yard, paint it if one wants to. But not absolutely necessary. How many times have you worn different sock colors between your R vs L foot lol...
- Cut some metal and weld it to the wheel arch. Then Bondo, prime, paint.

Was taught body work from my mechanic in the early 80's. His dad own a body shop and he worked at a full service repair shop meaning full engine rebuilds with all equipment on site. Spent several months after JC classes at his home doing body work and paint, a couple of hours at a time on I think it was a 68 or 70 Ford Econo Panel Van. No Guru or even beginner for sure but your assessment of: - Cut some metal and weld it to the wheel arch. Then Bondo, prime, paint., was my thought on that mangled mess.
I just settled with the other party's insurance today so will be keeping the 09 S60 2.5T AWD and may replaced both doors if I can get it back from VA.
