heat is adjustable

Post by Mika »

My seats heat just fine, there are two positions, and the hotter is indeed hot.
The temp can be adjusted by the dealer, but it's computerized, not a knob or something. If they don't know how to do it, find another dealer.

Hi

On new model v70,s60 etc there is a temp range adjustment for the base
pad and the back pad on low and high.

This is a forced write software setting made via VIDA or VADIS
at the dealers.

This interface is accessed through the CEM
my guess is not all tech's may be aware of it.

Hi, my Turbo has hotter than hot seats, but the GLT seems just mediocre. The driver doesnt get as hot as the passenger. I'm wondering if in addition to this software upgrade you all are talking about if there could be any faults in the heating coils, or any wire connections I should check and clean other than the button connections themselves and the contacts under the seat. Sometimes the driver doesnt seem to turn on at all.

How much should I expect to pay for the software upgrade? I'm wondering if its worth it since we're now coming into spring...

Thanks,

Shaun
