what kind of mileage can a Volvo do? What's yours?

Mine is a youngster its only a 1998 S70 with 165k/mi but it still gets 22mpg.

my 98 S70 N/A has about 120,000 and usually gets 26-27 highway. took one trip to texas and had a peak of 30. im assuming thats due to a combination of the injector cleaner, the tank was 100% highway on cruies and overall the trip was downhill.

I just got a 94 850 Turbo, and its has 210,000 on it, and it needs so much mantinance i havent been able to drive it far eneough to get mpg

About 22 mpg city
On road trips, 30 mpg at 65mph

That's with a bad airbox thermostat too!

Hello i have volvo 850 GLE 1996, 310 000 km and made 12ltrs on 100km

My 99 V70 NA has done 235 000 kms and does about 10 litres per 100k although my commute is part highway so prolly a little higher if it was all city kms.

95 850n/a about 24 mpg combined (w/ some "aggressive driving").
06 V70 n/a gets 27 mpg combined (30+ on highway).

Our 1999 V70 AWD has 115,000 on it. Recent trip through Finger Lakes tallied approx 25MPG. Not bad for this vehicle - and a heck of a lot better than the vehicle it replaced - 2001 Chevy Tahoe - 18MPG highway, 13MPG City - 48k miles.
