Yeah, I didn't think that could be it, it's just nice to have all the parts on that are supposed to be there.
I know I started this post thinking that the sound was from my FRONT left wheel.
Now through all my trial and error, it is positively the left REAR wheel.
I have also eliminated the parking break shoes as the culprit. I removed them completely and drove around and still heard the noise.
Now I believe that the caliper is just sticking a little and I need a new one, unless there is a way to lube it up a little.
Don't really have the funds for a new one right now since I need to invest in the axle and ball joint situation.
I guess I may have to tolerate the "light scraping" sound in the mean time.
'96 850 front brake scraping sound...I think?
