this sounds like the problem i am having on the wifes 2000 xc v70 se
It has a new radiator cap and thermostat. also new coolant and a fairly new pump
What I'm wondering is is it possible for the coolant sensor to fail in such a way that the engine is not turning on the fan at the right time. the fan wont run while the cap is steaming out from the car being so hot,
but i can unplug the ecu wires from the relay and ground either high or low and the car blows strong!
so I'm going to go pick up a 50 dollar sensor tomorrow .. your input on it would be greatly appreciated
oh btw no service lights on the dash at all.
