Mine has been slowly scrubbed clean over the years. Down here, we sweat a lot. Rubber "touch" coatings eventually succomb to UV, ozone, HEAT, sweat, cleaners, etc. and just gets gummy.

Over the years I've used Lexol (orange) cleaner, 303, TuffStuff, VinylX, Meguirers vinyl cleaner/protectant & an old, soft toothbrush to scrub surfaces my fingers regularly touch.
1998 V70 T5 226,808 miles. Original Owner.
